As your letter points out, there are instances where the Guardian endorsed Bahá’is identifying themselves with protest activities on vital issues which the Bahá’i teachings illuminate. It must be remembered that there is an important distinction between protest against attitudes and practices prevalent in some quarters of society and protest antagonistic to the government.
