Concerning the point that the poor are always in hardship
and trouble and in need of everything, this we can acknowledge. However, it is
doubtful whether the rich have peace of mind and true comfort, they should be
quietly asked about this, and their response is dependent upon their
conscience.
This should not be understood to mean that poverty is
cherished and riches and wealth are blameworthy. All are called upon, nay,
rather, commanded and required by the Pen of the Most High, to engage in a
trade or profession.
